Police said that during September, the Norwalk Police Special Services Division and the Stamford Police Narcotics and Organized Crime unit conducted a joint investigation into Wilbur Serrano, 28, of Norwalk, who was believed to be dealing drugs.
During the investigation, police obtained multiple search and seizure warrants and an arrest warrant for Serrano, police said. Additionally, Stamford Police secured an arrest warrant charging Serrano with two counts of sale of narcotics, police said.
On Friday, members of the two police departments simultaneously executed search and seizure warrants at Wilbur Serrano's home on Hyatt Avenue in Norwalk, as well as the residence of 29-year-old Julian Serrano on Frances Avenue in Norwalk, and on a GMC Acadia owned by WIlbur Serrano.
Police said that Wilbur Serrano was found at his Hyatt Avenue home, along with 2.5 pounds of marijuana, 7.29 grams of cocaine, prescription pills, digital scales, drug paraphernalia and $856 in cash.
Julian Serrano was found at his home, along with 8.9 grams of cocaine, digital scales, drug paraphernalia and a small amount of cocaine, according to police.
Police said that Anthony Santiago, 27, of Norwalk was also found at the Frances Avenue home and it was discovered that he had an active arrest warrant.
Wilbur Serrano was charged with two counts of sale of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, operating a drug factory, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $100,000.
Julian Serrano was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school, interfering with a police officer, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $50,000.
Santiago was charged on a warrant with operating under the influence. His bond was set at $2,500.
