Suspect Charged With Murder In Death Of Norwalk Cab Driver

NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk police have made an arrest in the stabbing death of a cab driver on Monday.

Ramiro Arcos Garcia, 32, of Elizabeth, N.J., has been charged with murder, police said. He is being held on $2.5 million bond.

Cab driver Jackson Pierre-Louis, 51, of Bridgeport was stabbed early Monday in his cab on Grove Street in Norwalk. He then crashed his cab into a parked car and called 911. Paramedics arrived on the scene and transported him to Norwalk Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
