NORWALK, Conn. -- A second arrest has been made in connection with the Sept. 9 armed robbery of a Norwalk pawn shop, Norwalk Police said.
U.S. Marshals in Florida arrested Antonio Barreto Tuesday on an active warrant held by the Norwalk Police Department, police said.
The robbery took place at 11:10 a.m. Sept. 9 at Gold Rush Pawn Shop, located at 495 Connecticut Ave. Police said two suspects robbed the business, including one who displayed a handgun.
The federal marshals tracked Barreto to Kissimmee, Fla., where he was located and taken into custody, according to police.
He is pictured in a surveillance photo taken of the robbery, said police.
Barreto will be extradited to Connecticut to face charges of first-degree robbery, first-degree larceny and conspiracy, according to police.
Donald Outlaw, Barreto's alleged co-conspirator, was arrested by U.S. Marshals on Sept. 29 and faces the same charges, said Norwalk Police.
