Ridgefield Man, 51, Charged In Sexual Assault Of Minor In Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. — A 51-year-old Ridgefield man was arrested Wednesday on charges of inappropriately touching a minor in Norwalk on two occasions several years ago, The Hour said.

Norwalk police did not release any details on the alleged incidents.

Jose Recinos was arrested on a warrant and charged with two counts each of fourth-degree sexual assault and illegal sexual contact with a person under the age of 16, police said. Bond was set at $500,000 for a Jan. 4 court date.

The two incidents occurred several years ago, but the victim only came forward recently, police told The Hour.

Police did not release details on the incident but said the victim knew Recinos, according to The Hour.
