Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit By Car In Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. — A 49-year-old man was hit and killed by a car on Main Street in Norwalk on Saturday, according to the Hour.

Police told the Hour that Willia Padilla-Rivera of Stamford was walking in the area of 205 Main St. when he was hit by a car traveling southbound. Padilla-Rivera was taken to Norwalk Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, the Hour reported.

The driver stopped after the accident and was cooperating with police, according to the Hour. The area of Main Street was closed down on Saturday while police investigated the accident, which remains under investigation, the Hour reported.
