Detectives are investigating the shooting, which happened at about 10:40 p.m. Thursday, said Lt. Terrence Blake, police public information officer.
Initially, officers responded to a report of shots fired on Chapel Street and located a crime scene but no victims, Blake said.
Norwalk Hospital then reported two male victims had arrived by private vehicle, he said. A short time later, a third male victim arrived at the Norwalk Hospital emergency department as well, Blake said.
All three victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, he said.

The Crime Scene Unit investigated the scene on Chapel Street, which was closed temporarily overnight, Blake said.
Norwalk City Councilman Steve Serasis, whose district includes that area, told The Hour that downtown Norwalk is generally safe.
“The few times that something happens in the area are isolated incidents,” Serasis told The Hour. “We don’t have people walking around the area looking to commit random crime.”
Scanner reports said a bullet-ridden car was found in the area late Thursday.
By Friday, there was no indication that the shooting happened except for one piece of yellow crime scene tape on a fence at 24 Chapel St., The Hour said.
Additional patrols have been assigned to the area, which is north of the Stepping Stones Museum for Children and blocks from the Norwalk Public Library.
