The resident told police that she had left her home in the morning to go to work. When she returned in the evening, she found that a screen on a rear window had been ripped, police said.
Her family later noticed that several items in the home were missing, including $300 in cash, various $25 gift cards and an Xbox gaming system, police said.
Police are investigating the incident.
