Norwalk Officers Honored For Arrest Of Crack Dealer

NORWALK, Conn. -- Three members of the Norwalk Police Department were honored for their work taking down a dealer who was selling crack cocaine laced with Fentanyl.

Lieutenant James Walsh, Officer Mark Suda and Officer Richard Holmes were named the July 2017 Officers of the Month for their investigation and subsequent arrest of an accused drug dealer charged with selling crack cocaine laced with Fentanyl. The arrest came teh same day that Norwalk saw seven drug overdoses, three of which were fatal.

"Your actions in this case represent the highest level of police professionalism combined with police street savvy," said Chief Thomas Kulhawik.
