Norwalk Duo Charged With Sale Of Crack

NORWALK, Conn. – Police seized $3,700 in cash and 43 rocks of crack cocaine while arresting two Norwalk residents on drug charges Friday morning. The arrests followed a month-long investigation.

Police received a search and seizure warrant for an apartment at 16 School St. based on work by undercover officers as well as surveillance and information from neighbors. Police said that when searching the apartment they found the cash, the 42 crack rocks valued at $20 each and one crack rock valued at $100.

Police arrested Karrem McClendon, 34, and Natalie Felder, 32. Both were charged with possession of narcotics, sale of narcotics and possession and sale of narcotics near a school, all felonies. There was a 10-year-old child in the apartment, police said, so both were also charged with risk of injury to a minor, a felony. They were both held on a $100,000 bond.
