Norwalk Break-Ins May Be Linked, Police Say

NORWALK, Conn., -- Norwalk Police are urging residents to take precautions after three burglaries into unoccupied homes during January. Norwalk Detectives investigated three residential burglaries into unoccupied residences on Mohawk Drive and Lakewood Drive. In all three instances, a rear sliding glass door was smashed using a rock or a brick. These burglaries have occurred between 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and cash and jewelry were taken. Detectives believe three males and one female were involved in the Mohawk Drive burglaries.

The vehicle used by the suspects during these burglaries was a silver Kia Sportage with New York plates. Police urge people to lock their homes and to ensure valuables are safely stored and out of site.
