Marvin Lopez, 40, of Stamford, was arrested Wednesday, Dec. 19, after Wilton Police stopped him on Danbury Road driving a white 2004 Ford Escape that the temporary registration tag came back for a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze, said Wilton Police.
During an investigation, Lopez told officers that he didn't have a valid driver's license because his license was suspended. He also had fake insurance and registration ID cards, police said.
During his arrested officers found that he was wanted in Stamford for failure to appear.
He was also charged with driving with a suspended license, misuse of registration, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without insurance.
Lopez was being held on a $1,000 bond.
