NORWALK, Conn. -- A man wanted in New Jersey was arrested in Norwalk after he tried to $93.80 in items from Walmart on Thursday night, police said.
Justin Jones, 29, of 1350 5th Ave, New York, was held on $100,000 bond for being a fugitive from justice, police said. He was also charged with sixth-degree larceny.
Norwalk Police said the man was seen using the self-checkout but not scanning a number of items at about 7:30 p.m. He was stopped and police were called.
Officers discovered there was an extraditable warrant for his arrest from the Union County Sheriff's Office, police said. It's not known what he is wanted for in New Jersey.
