NORWALK, Conn. A Wal-Mart security guard watched Wednesday as a man picked up iPod after iPod during a four-hour walk through the Connecticut Avenue store and left without paying, Norwalk police said. Police are investigating.
The security guard called police at 5:52 p.m. He had watched the shopper on the store's surveillance cameras, but the man had escaped with 15 iPods of varying value, Sgt. James Walsh said. The guard did not know who he was and provided images from the video footage for police to use during their investigation.
