A 67-year-old Stamford woman whose body was found floating in the river near the Trump building has been identified.
Eru Zhang, 67, was found dead around 1 p.m. Sunday in the Rippowam River in Mill River Park, said Stamford Police Lt. Eric Scanlon.
Zhang is believed to have entered the water near her home on Vernon Place, police said.
"At this point, her death looks to be either suicide or accidental," he said. "We are still waiting for the Medical Examiner's report."
