Gunman Fires Shots On Novak Street In Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. – A gunman and an accomplice fired two shots on Novak Street in South Norwalk on Tuesday evening, but no one was hit, according to police.

Exactly who or what the two were firing at just before 7 p.m. was unknown, but they shot toward South Main Street and fled on foot toward Meadow Street, police said. A group of residents on Novak reported the gunfire, police said.

While running off, the gunman was seen throwing something over a fence near 32 Meadow St., police said. Officers searching that area found a silver-colored revolver, police said.

The two were described as wearing black hoodies and jeans. One was shorter than the other and heavier.
