Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton, via Twitter @MayorMark said, "That smell of smoke in Western Danbury is from a brush fire in Rockland County. #Danbury."

CBS New York reported that a massive brush fire has burned more than 40 acres in Rockland County since it erupted at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
