Driver Of Broken-Down Truck Injured In Hit-And-Run On I-95 In Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. — A 22-year-old man was seriously injured after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver in the breakdown lane of I-95 in Norwalk while a tow truck was hooking up his disabled box truck, according to NBC Connecticut.

The accident occurred at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday near Exit 15 for Route 7 on I-95 north, NBC Connecticut said. 

The man was watching the tow truck when a vehicle veered into the breakdown lane and hit him and the tow truck, NBC Connecticut said. 

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Connecticut State Police Troop G at 860-696-2500.
