Juan Jimenez, 37, and Roberto Landrau, 52, both of Taylor Avenue, were charged with the felonies following the 11:30 a.m. altercation, which police are still piecing together.

Police said Landrau told officers that Jimenez sliced him in the head with a knife, while Jimenez denied that claim and said Landrau struck him with a club. Both men were treated for minor injuries and released from Norwalk Hospital.

A witness said the two appeared to be arguing over money before the altercation escalated, police said. Both suspects were released after posting $1,000 bonds and are scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on March 14.
