The burglary was reported at about 11:45 a.m. Tuesday.
The owner, who was doing construction work on the house, told police that he arrived to find a large hole in the garage door panel. The hole had been created at some point over the previous three days, and someone had entered the house and stolen the equipment and pipes.
The owner told police that the stolen property was worth between $7,000 and $10,000.
Norwalk police canvassed the area and established a time frame for the crime. The Detective Division is currently investigating the incident.
