NORWALK, Conn. – A Bridgeport man was arrested Monday in connection with an alleged hit-and-run car crash in Norwalk in which a 22-year-old Stamford woman was seriously injured, according to The Hour.
Luciano Vazquez, 27, of Huntington Turnpike, Bridgeport, is accused of being the driver of a gray GMC sport utility vehicle that struck the Stamford woman near the intersection of Belden and Mott avenues about 1:15 a.m. Monday, according to The Hour.
The woman, whose name was not released, was taken to Norwalk Hospital with serious injuries, according to The Hour, which reported that Vazquez is accused of driving away from the crash scene.
The Bridgeport man has been charged with evading responsibility with serious injury, operating a motor vehicle without a license, failure to renew registration and failure to carry registration or an insurance ID card, according to The Hour.
