Breaking News: CT's First Suspect On Trial Since Pandemic's Start Found Guilty In Fairfield County Murder Case

William Harold Morton Sr., 88, Of Norwalk, World War II Veteran

NORWALK, Conn. – William Harold Morton Sr., 88, of Norwalk, died Monday, April 13.

He was born Jan. 21, 1926, in Saxe, Va., to Joseph Morton and Susie Davis Morton.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include two sons, Victor L. Morton and William Morton Jr.; and three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Gloria Lee Morton.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, Little Zion Church of Christ, 4 Martin Luther King Drive, Norwalk.

Interment will be private.

Downer Funeral Home, Stamford, is handling the arrangements.
