Shelley Saddler, Norwalk Designer, Dies At 44

NORWALK, Conn. – Shelley L. Saddler of Norwalk died suddenly on July 12 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was 44. 

Born March 13, 1968, in Norwalk, Saddler was the daughter of Richard J. Hoyt and the late Phyllis Boerum Hoyt. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and worked at Vineyard Vines as a technical designer. 

She is survived by her husband, Fritz-Roy Saddler; her father, Richard; a daughter, Ashley L. Saddler, of Norwalk; an aunt and two uncles. 

Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home and Crematory in Norwalk. A funeral service will be held Thursday at a time to be announced at Christ Episcopal Church in Norwalk. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
