NORWALK, Conn. Sharon R. Fowler of Norwalk died Aug. 15 at Norwalk Hospital. She was 73.
Fowler was born July 8, 1939, in Columbus, Ind., to Raymond and Beatrice Wright Daum. She retired from James River Corp., where she worked for more than 15 years. She was married to Don C. Fowler.
She was active with the United Congregational Church in Norwalk. Fowler loved her family and enjoyed the beach and lunch "with the girls."
Fowler is survived by a son, Kevin (Mary) Short, of Windham, N.H.; a daughter, Cynthia (John) Bruens, of Columbia, S.C.; two stepdaughters, Dominique (Michael) McQuade, of Stratford, and Donette (Anthony) Esposito, of Shelton; a stepson, Todd (Rachel) Fowler, of Wallingford; five grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband and a brother, Don Daum.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Sept. 1, at United Congregational Church. Magner Funeral Home in Norwalk is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church.
