NORWALK, Conn. Robert L. Blackwell of Norwalk died July 17. He was 67.
He was born Nov. 27, 1944 to the late Arthur and Willie Mae Blackwell. He worked at Community Barber Shop for many years. Blackwell was a member of Canaan Institutional Baptist Church, where he served as a trustee. He was also a member of the Corinthian Lodge, where he was a 32nd degree mason.
Blackwell is survived by his wife, Adell Blackwell; two brothers, Calvin Blackwell, of Sandy Hook, Conn. and Kenneth Blackwell, of New Haven, Conn.; five sisters, Janet Blackwell, Valerie Blackwell, Brenda Blackwell and Gloria Blackwell, all of Bridgeport, and Patricia Edwards, of Gainesville, Fla. and a host of relatives and friends.
