NORWALK, Conn. – Myrtle Ferris, 95, of Norwalk, died Thursday, April 9, at Wilton Meadows.
Born in Norwalk, the daughter of Ethel Banyai, she worked as a telephone operator for SNET for many years. She loved her church, loved traveling and was an avid bowler.
She is survived by a nephew and three nieces, Harvey, Marion, Jane and Carolyn, as well as many other relatives.
She was predeceased by a sister.
Her family will receive friends Thursday, April 16, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
