NORWALK, Conn. -- Lifelong Norwalk resident Mabel Marko died on Sunday, Jan. 24. She was 92.
Born in Norwalk, Marko had a huge heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She also found great enjoyment playing cards with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Paula Brush of Trumbull and Virginia Marko of Norwalk; grandchildren Kalvin and Shayna Marko, Shaun and Daniel Brush, and Michael Mennona; and many nieces and nephews.
Marko was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Andrew Marko; son Michael Marko; parents Alfred Harris and Mae Moore; grandson Anthony Marko; and sister Edith Jacobs.
A memorial service will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 29, at Edmund W. Dougiello Funeral Home, 36 South Pine Creek Road in Fairfield.
