Mabel Marko, 90, Lifelong Norwalk Resident

NORWALK, Conn. – Mabel Marko, of Norwalk, died Sunday, Jan. 24 at St. Joseph Center in Trumbull. She was 90.

Born in Norwalk, she was a lifelong Norwalk resident. She was married to Andrew Marko for 51 years, and was the daughter of Alfred Harris and Mae Moore. 

She had a huge heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She also found great enjoyment playing cards with her family and friends. 

Survivors include her daughters, Paula Brush and Virginia Marko; her grandchildren Kalvin and Shayna Marko, Shaun and Daniel Brush, and Michael Mennona; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Michael A. Marko; a grandson, Anthony Marko; and her sister, Edith Jacobs.

A memorial service will be held on Friday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Edmund Dougiello Funeral Home, 36 S. Pine Creek Road, Fairfield.
