NORWALK, Conn. Lee Costa, a longtime Norwalk resident, died Aug. 25. She was 89.
Costa was the daughter of Michael and Teresa Manuzza Giorlando. She was an active member of St. Philip Church in Norwalk, where she served as a Eucharistic minister and member of the Charismatic Prayer Group for many years.
She enjoyed volunteering at Norwalk Hospital and helping with STAR workshop activities, which her late son, Robert, attended. She was most recently of Shelton, Conn.
Costa was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Roy R. Costa and a son, Robert Costa. She is survived by four children, Mary Bornfriend, of Wheaton, Ill., Roy C. Costa, of Cranston, R.I., Michele Kudlicki, of Shelton and Joan Troy, of Newtown, Conn.; a sister, Christine Giorlando, of Shelton; and nine grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Magner Funeral Home in Norwalk. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Philip Church in Norwalk. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery.
