She was born July 30, 1924, in New York, the daughter of the late William Holmes Christian Ulrich and Mollie (Motto) Ulrich. She was an alumna of Northfield School and graduated from Rutgers University.
She was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church on the Green, and was a Betas member most of that time. For 28 years, she volunteered with the AARP Tax Counseling for the Elderly program.
She is survived by two daughters, Dawn Odette King Sturges and Cheryl Robin Hopp; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Congregational Church on The Green. Calling hours will be private. Burial will take place at a later date.
