Joseph A. Wesolowski, 91, WWII Veteran And Longtime Resident Of Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. — Joseph A. Wesolowski, of Norwalk, died Saturday, March 9. He was 91.

Wesolowski was born in Warwick, N.Y. Oct. 1, 1921, son of Frank and Viola Roy Wesolowski and has lived locally for most of his life. He served his country in WWII in the U. S. Marines and was retired vice president of operations for Mack Trucks, Inc. in the Bridgeport, New Haven and Waterbury offices. He was the husband for 69 years of Adeline A. Giordano Wesolowski.

Wesolowski is survived by sons, Dennis Wesolowski (Carole) of Norwalk and Robert Wesolowski of Monroe; sister Violet Maslar; three grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Emil J. Wesolowski and sister Sophie Delbene.

There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 13, 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 669 West Ave., Norwalk. Burial with full military honors will follow at St. John Cemetery.
