NORWALK, Conn. - Gregory ‘Chainsaw’ Williams, a lifelong Norwalk resident, died Sunday June 2. He was 65.
Williams was born Sept. 9, 1947, in Norwalk, to Charles and Mary-Ann (Blaskovich) Williams. He was the owner of Williams Tree Service for over 40 years, was a licensed arborist and a member of the Connecticut Tree Association.
Williams is survived by his wife, Christina (Schael) Williams; sons, Jeremy Gregory and Dane Charles Williams, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours are Wednesday, June 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 6 directly at St. Ladislaus Church, with interment to follow at St. John Cemetery, 225 Richards Ave., Norwalk.
