NORWALK, Conn. - Catherine U. Puskas of Norwalk died March 13 in Boca Raton, Fla. She was 91.
Puskas was born in Jermyn, Pa., Oct. 30, 1922, to Samuel and Mary Urda. She retired from Nash Engineering in 1984. She was a member of St. Mary’s Holy Assumption Russian Orthodox Church, the Golden Age of St. Mary’s Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, the South Norwalk Boat Auxiliary, the Senior Center of Norwalk and the Norwalk AARP.
Puskas is survived by many nieces and nephews and 16 great-nieces and -nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, William; five sisters, Anna McDonough, Helen Zevola, Antoinette Urban, Mary Urda, Antosh Urda; and two brothers, Michael and John Urda.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, March 20 between 4 and 8 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave. Norwalk, Conn. Services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in St Mary’s Holy Assumption Russian Orthodox Church, Stamford, Conn. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Richards Ave., Norwalk, Conn.
