NORWALK, Conn. Catherine G. Mulcahy of East Norwalk died July 29 at Notre Dame Convalescent Home. She was 89.
Born March 16, 1923, in Norwalk, she was the daughter of Patrick and Anna Finucahe Mulcahy. A lifelong Norwalk resident, Mulcahy and her family were parishioners of St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
Mulcahy worked as a telephone operator at Southern New England Telephone Company. She also worked at the former C & K Hat Company.
She is survived by a sister, Helen M. Mulcahy, and several cousins. A brother, Edward Mulcahy, predeceased her.
Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the family plot in St. John Cemetery. A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Notre Dame Chapel at a later date. Collins Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
