Angelino Occhicone, 91, Of Norwalk, Longtime Seamstress

NORWALK, Conn. - Angelina Occhicone of Norwalk died Monday, July 15. She was 91.

Occhicone was born in Italy, to Giuseppe and Concetta Amoddio Mure. She came as an infant to the U.S. and resided in the Bronx where she was a seamstress. She resided in Norwalk for the past 25 years.

Occhicone is survived by her children, Louis Occhicone (Pamela) of Trumbull, RoseMary Fratarcangelo (Peter) of Norwalk and Michael Occhicone (Ann) of the Bronx; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and brother, Frank Mure of Tenn. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Louis Occhicone.

Calling hours are Wednesday, July 17th from 4 to 9 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 18 at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave., Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave., Norwalk.
