Born April 1, 1918, in Fairfield, Yazanko was the daughter of Louis and Mary Sabre Bambino. A Fairfield resident for most of her life, she was a parishioner of Holy Family Church for many years.
Yazanko loved to dance with her husband, John G. Yazanko, and spend time at home and with her son.
She is survived by a son, John A. (Debra) Yazanko, of Norwalk; several nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by a brother, Harry Bambino; and three sisters, Josephine DeMino, Rose Kundert and Louise (Skip) Mularcik. She was predeceased by her husband.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Spear-Miller Funeral Home in Fairfield. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Church in Fairfield. Burial will follow at Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield.
