FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. Mother Nature has a couple of soggy days and slippery commutes in store for Fairfield County, as rain is likely Tuesday and Wednesday.
Rain should start falling Tuesday afternoon and continue through Tuesday night, which also could see some thunderstorms, the National Weather Service said. About a 1/2 inch of rain could fall.
The rain may be heavier on Wednesday and Wednesday night. There could be more thunderstorms, bringing up to an inch of rain to the region, the Weather Service said.
And the rain could linger into Thursday, the Weather Service said.
