Starting today, you can vote for your favorite not-for-profit organization to win a grand prize of $10,000. In our Santa's Wish List promotion, you can vote for any of the registered organizations to enter the final round, where they will have a chance to win $10,000, $5,000 or a $500 stocking stuffer. This is a wonderful opportunity to show support for the organizations you believe in. [breakhere]
Here's how it works:
From now until December 10, there will be a list of registered not-for-profit organizations on our site. You can come back and vote once every day for your favorite organization in Santa's Wish List. You can even vote for a different organization every day.
On December 10 Round One will end. The 10 not-for-profits with the most votes will move on to Round Two, which will begin on December 11. At that point, all vote totals will return to zero, and readers will begin voting on those 10 organizations.
When Round Two ends on December 24, the organization that has received the most votes will win $10,000. The runner-up will receive $5,000, and the eight remaining organizations will each receive $500 stocking stuffers.
