Time to Get Beach Stickers

The weather report for later this week calls for temperatures in the 80s—beach weather! Remember, though, that residents need parking stickers to park in the city lots at any of the town beaches. Norwalk’s Recreation and Parks office issues the stickers.

To receive a beach sticker, residents must bring their car registration to the office located in room 129 in City Hall. If the car is leased or registered to an address other than Norwalk, an applicant must bring the car registration, a lease or mortgage statement that bears a Norwalk address and two utility bills or a tax bill.

Stickers will only be issued in person, not by mail. Those distributed in 2009, however, are still valid for this season. That leaves time to buy sunscreen.
