Road Resurfacing On Route 1 In Norwalk Begins Monday

NORWALK, Conn. -- The Connecticut Department of Transportation next week will begin resurfacing the roadway on Route 1 between the Interstate 95 Exit 14 intersection and Fairfield Avenue.

Work will begin Monday and will take about two weeks, weather permitting, DOT said. The work will be done in sections.

Drivers should expect rotating lane closures in both directions. Motorists should be aware when driving through the area and consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
