Outbound New Haven Line Trains See Small Delays Due To Track Work

Update 10:30 a.m.: Trains were running on or close to schedule, Metro-North said late Thursday morning. 

Original story: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- New Haven Line train riders traveling eastbound from Grand Central Terminal into Westchester County and Fairfield County may experience delays Thursday morning, Metro-North said on its website and Twitter. 

Delays of 10 to 15 minutes were seen on outbound trains due to speed restrictions in an area where track work is underway, Metro-North said. 

Customers should listen for announcements at their stations for further information.
