FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- OS X Lion hits the Apple Store Wednesday and the new Mac operating system is only available online. There are brick-and-mortar Apple Stores in Greenwich, Stamford and Danbury, but users can only purchase the software via download from Apple's online app store. It costs $29.99.
Apple's latest operating system has hundreds of new features, inculding apps that look more like an iPad and enhanced multi-touch gestures, according to Engadgaet.
In other Apple news, a free Google+ app is now available for iPhone.
