Franklin E. Holly, 92, of Norwalk, died Friday, June 10, at Norwalk Hospital. Born March 11, 1919, in Norwalk, he formerly lived in New Canaan.
He is survived by his wife, Phoebe Butler Holly of Norwalk; his son, Albert Holly and his wife, Maureen, of Hot Springs, Ark.; two daughters, Betsy Davis and her husband, James, of Melbourne, Fla., and Frann Harrison and her husband, Lane, of Norwalk. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. He was predeceased by his daughter, Phoebe Ann Holly, who died in 1951. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St., New Canaan. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service.
