A woman called Norwalk Police Monday night to report that her boyfriend was trying to shoot her. The call was then disconnected.
Three police officers converged on her Concord Street location. The boyfriend, Jason Harrison, 23, of 15 Ryan Ave. was immediately handcuffed. Police did not find a gun in his possession, but he was charged with threatening and breach of peace. Bond was $10,000.
The girlfriend said she had fallen asleep that afternoon and when she woke up $50 was missing, as was her house key, Sgt. James Walsh said. She called Harrison because she suspected he had the missing items. He admitted he had them and agreed to give them back, police said, but when they met on Concord Street an argument ensued. When he threatened to kill her, she called police, authorities quoted the woman as saying.
Police found the keys on Harrison when they were processing him. They did not find a weapon in the area or on his person, but the girlfriend said she has seen him with a gun before and that she was afraid for her life.
