Norwalk Gets Its Irish On At St. Patrick's Parade, Celebration At O'Neill's

NORWALK, Conn. — Norwalk was dressed in green Thursday to celebrate St. Patrick's Day as the city hosted its first parade and crowds gathered at O'Neill's Pub & Restaurant to party afterward.

The parade featured the music of the Norwalk Emerald Society Pipe Band along with members of the Norwalk Police Department, Norwalk Fire Department, Norwalk Emergency Medical Service, Norwalk Veterans, O’Neill’s Irish Pub, Diageo float and much more.

Mayor Harry Rilling was chosen as the parade's grand marshal.
