Vaughn was not injured in the 11:02 p.m. collision at 149 Westport Ave. The two people in the other vehicle were: One had lacerations to the side of the head and the other had broken ribs and possible internal bleeding, police said.
Also from the police blotter:
Thieves allegedly stole a television and a safe that had been bolted to the floor of a vacant home on Pine Point Road late Sunday or early Monday. The home has been for sale and the owners are in Portland, Ore. A caretaker had been there Sunday and returned Monday to find the place ransacked. There were deep scratches on the wooden floor. The caretaker realized they had been made by the bolts on the safe, which contained documents and costume jewelry.
There were footprints in the snow leading up to the rear of the garage. The investigation is continuing.
