Metro-North Reports 30-Minute Delays Across New Haven Line

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Metro-North's New Haven Line service is experiencing 30-minute delays on Monday morning due to weather-related conditions across Fairfield County with snow and sleet falling.

Riders are encouraged to listen for announcements at their train stations.

Metro-North is operating a regular weekday schedule on Monday with the normal level of rush hour service.

The MTA has deployed snow- and ice-fighting equipment across the rail network to keep rails free of snow. Extra crews are scheduled to keep platforms and stairs free of snow and ice.

Customers are urged to stay safe and to be prepared for delays.
