If Easter egg hunting, a holiday meal with family or a sunrise service takes you to the rails, Metro-North is adding a few trains to get you on your way.
On Good Friday, April 2, the railroad runs an additional afternoon train leaving Grand Central at 3:26 p.m. The train skips Norwalk, but stops in Westport and Fairfield. The 7:05 p.m. train from Grand Central will not operate that day. On Easter Sunday, three additional inbound express trains will operate along the New Haven Line, departing New Haven at 5:45 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.
