Metro-North will also offer additional trains on Thursday for the Macy’s fireworks display. On Friday trains will run on a Saturday schedule with extra service.
On the New Haven Line, extra getaway trains will depart from Grand Central on Wednesday on the following schedule:
- 12:04 p.m., stopping at Harlem-125th Street, Westport, and all stations between Fairfield and New Haven.
- 1:04 p.m., stopping at Harlem-125th Street, Westport, and all stations between Fairfield and New Haven.
- 1:59 p.m., stopping at Harlem-125th Street, Stamford, then all stations to South Norwalk.
- 2:04 p.m., stopping at Harlem-125th Street, Westport then all stations between Fairfield and New Haven.
- 2:31 p.m., stopping at Harlem-125th Street, Westport, Fairfield then all stops between Fairfield and New Haven.
- 2:57 p.m., stopping at Harlem-125th Street, then all stations between Stamford and South Norwalk.
- 3:04 p.m., stopping at Harlem-125th Street, then Stamford, Westport and all stations between Fairfield and New Haven.
- 3:23 p.m., stopping at Harlem-125th Street, Stamford, Westport and all stations between Fairfield and New Haven.
- 4:02 p.m., stopping at Harlem-125th Street, Stamford and all stations between Bridgeport and New Haven.
The following trains usually departing Grand Central will not operate Wednesday or are combined:
- The 6:11 p.m. to New Haven will also stop at South Norwalk and Westport.
- The 6:17 p.m. to Bridgeport will not operate.
- The 8:04 p.m. to New Haven will not operate.
Trains will run on a Sunday schedule on the Fourth of July, with several additional trains on the New Haven Line to get riders to and from the Macy’s fireworks display. See a current timetable or visit the schedules page for details.
