The baby, Corinne Magda, died while sleeping prone in a Pack 'N Play, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner told The Hour. The manner of death was undetermined, The Hour said.
The State Police investigation into the baby's death is not complete and they are still investigating, spokesperson Trooper Kelly Grant told The Hour.
On Oct. 5, police and fire department units responded to the Hunters Lane home after receiving a 911 call about a baby not breathing, police said.
When they arrived, CPR was being done on the baby, police said. They immediately took over life-saving efforts, police said. The baby was transported to Norwalk Hospital, where she later died.
Detectives from the Connecticut State Police's Western District Major took control of the investigation into the baby's death at the request of the state's attorney's office.
The home daycare was run by and in the home of Christine Limone, daughter of Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling, the former police chief. She voluntarily surrendered her home daycare license to the state.
