Late Norwalk Soldier Honored by Connecticut House

The Connecticut House of Representatives held a moment of silence Wednesday for David R. Fahey, a U.S. Army soldier with deep ties to Norwalk who was killed Feb. 28 at the age of 23 while serving in Afghanistan. House Minority Leader Larry Cafero, R-Norwalk, led the observance, saying that it was tough to lose someone so young.

Cafero said Fahey went to the same school as his children and was remembered as being funny and warm. "We will forever be in his debt," Cafero said.
